Dear Bobby I'm glad you left me a message, and I am glad I inspire you. I'm posting this here so I don't lose your message. You draw well, and your paint I think is watercolor? There is a mantra in my head that says go darker, and it reminds me that the surface color I see is not how to achieve a good watercolor. In other words. We may know a Wood Ducks feathers are white or bright green, but to make it look that way in watercolor we may have to lay in a wash of light bright green first. Let that dry, and then go darker with more washes leaving some of the original bright green. This will make the green "pop" and look vivid. I will do a tutorial for you of these ducks and show you what I mean. Thank you again, and don't hesitate to write and ask questions if you need help.
